Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room needed a repaint and a good scrub around the skirting, but it was spacious and suitable for couples or solo travelers. It served its purpose for sleep and showering. The service was not always readily available, but the relaxing atmosphere was a plus. The location, right by the water near the entrance to the Boulders Beach penguin reserve, was perfect for penguin enthusiasts. The dining options needed to be booked in advance, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite the drawbacks, being so close to the beach and penguin colony was a unique experience.
My stay at the hotel was quite lovely. The rooms were perfect and clean, and the crew was friendly and provided easy access for modern electronics. However, I did notice that the rooms weren't very clean and were placed near the kitchen. Despite this, it didn't affect my overall experience too much.
The hotel exceeded our expectations, being cozy and peaceful, far more than the price we paid. However, it definitely needs a little bar fridge in the room and is quite basic for the money charged. Waking up to see penguins in the parking lot was a unique touch.
